Clara is Ojibwe from Biigtigong Nishnaabeg (Ojibways of Pic River) and holds dual citizenship in both Canada and the United States. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences, with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies, from Utah State University. 

Clara brings cultural grounding and lived experience to Indigenous-centered programs and research. Over the past five years, she has supported Indigenous-led initiatives, accessibility services, and community wellness programs across clinical, community-based, and research settings. Her work is rooted in cultural safety, trauma-informed, and person-centered approaches, with a strong emphasis on Indigenous knowledge systems and relational ways of working. She focuses on strengthening language, culture, and developmental supports that help individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered. 

Currently, Clara works as an Assistant Researcher at Archipel Research & Consulting, where she contributes to projects in Indigenous health, justice, and education through applied research, outreach, and program evaluation.ion. She also volunteers with Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives (MMIR) Utah, contributing to data sovereignty and public education initiatives.
